Lavorare con MyCloudIT per sviluppare TrakGene Genetics Cloud Application

Negli ultimi sei mesi abbiamo lavorato con Conexlink, un'azienda con sede a Dallas specializzata in Software as a Service e tecnologie cloud attraverso MyCloudIT, per sviluppare una versione di TrakGene Cloud che può essere distribuita su Microsoft Azure. Spinti dalle esigenze dei genetisti di poter accedere ai record dei pazienti da qualsiasi luogo, abbiamo lavorato duramente per trovare una soluzione per distribuire TrakGene come applicazione basata su cloud a cui è possibile accedere da remoto.

MyCloudIT offer a user friendly interface with Microsoft Azure’s cloud platform, along with a suite of automation tools that make deploying applications on Microsoft Azure a straightforward process. We needed both a remote application server and cloud database server, both of which we were able to provision through MyCloudIT.

Keeping costs low was a crucial aim so that we could offer TrakGene Cloud at a competitive rate to our customers. MyCloudIT’s automation tools that allow cloud server available to be scheduled to particular times of day in any timezone allowed us to control our costs.

Deploying cloud based applications and databases in a secure way is an involved process and we were delighted to be able to work with MyCloudIT who are experts in their field. We are also delighted to be able to offer a cloud based solution to users who don’t have a suitable IT infrastructure in their own organisation and to organisations who want to deploy TrakGene on their own Azure platform.
